2008: Global Focus

Since 2004, Earthdance has chosen a Global Focus to further unite events around the world. By putting our attention on a positive and healing theme as a collective global family, we have an even deeper impact on this planet that we hold so dear.

2008: Honoring the Earth (and the Global MA)
The Earth is our Home, our Mother. We are born from it’s soil and return to it when we die. During this time of accelerated global change and environmental devastation, we are being called to honor our Earth and find new ways to live sustainably on this planet.. more info>>

2007: Honoring the Water (and the Global Om) H2Om
The Prayer for Peace MP3 was augmented to include a 7 minute Global Om set at a healing frequency. All events were encouraged to put special emphasis and attention on the sacredness of water. Also, public events that made a profit were encouraged to select charities that supported the health of our planet's waterways.

2006: Honoring the Wisdom of the Elders
Arun GandhiAll events were encouraged to invite local elders to their events to share their wisdom. Also, public events that made a profit were encouraged to select charities that supported and honored the wisdom of local and/or indigenous elders. The hub Even in Northern California was honored to have the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Arun Ghandi, in attendance.

2005: No Theme

2004: Drums of Peace
Drums of PeaceAll events were encourage to follow the Prayer for Peace with a drumming Circle. The Hub Event in Northern California broke the Guiness Book of World Records for the Largest synchronized Drum Circle in the world. We know that this circle was far larger than recorded as participants all around the world were participating in this momentus event!
