2008 IS THE YEAR TO GET INVOLVED |

Put your location on the Earthdance Map!
In 2007, 340 events in 60 countries united around the world (including the virtual world) to celebrate the Prayer for Peace and support humanitarian causes. Were you participating? Now is a good time to register to hold an Earthdance event of your own for the 2008 celebration, and at the appropriate time join in the Prayer for Peace.
To hold a PRIVATE EVENT, you just need to
1)
REGISTER A PRIVATE EVENT (click here)
2) Download the Prayer for Peace
(click here)
3) Invite your friends over on September 13 to celebrate
peace with music and dance.
For those of you who want to take it up a notch, we
suggest you register to do a PUBLIC EVENT,
which will expand the circle beyond your personal contacts
and involves selecting a charity to benefit from your
event.
To
promote a PUBLIC EVENT:
1) Review the Promoter Agreements (click

2) Select a charity to support (Past
Charities supported)
3) If you are a returning Promoter, fill
out the Post
Event Form
4) REGISTER

"Earthdance Northern California was a great success once again. Over the years the 3 day festival has grown into a wonderful community gathering offering entertainment for all ages and music for all tastes. The highlight of the event was the global Om which elevated the Prayer for Peace link up to another level. It was a very powerful moment with over 5000 people Oming in the main field, surrounding a center stage where indigenous and modern elders from many nations were holding sacred space. It was a wonderful moment after 11 years of participating in the Prayer for Peace moment to now experience the community unite in
synchronized voice. The weekend had many highlights, from stellar performances by international artists, to all night DJ dance marathons, to intimate moment with the elders as they shared sacred wisdom. Thankyou to everyone who helped create the magic. "-Chris Deckker |
